Main Settings

From the main Screen, clicking on the cog at the top left brings up a few settings.

Auto Connect and Auto Run will cause the app to try to connect to the last device that it connected to when it starts. This is useful to save time if always connecting to the same device. It is also useful if someone less technical wants to use your project.

Once auto connected, the app can also auto run. i.e. instructions for the person using your project are reduced to something like: 1) Power on your project, 2) Run app and wait a little.

If auto connect fails, then the app stays in the main screen waiting for the user to decide how to proceed.

Sound On - a lot of button presses have a sound associated. Use this option to turn them on or off. Note that this does not affect the buzzer panel elements which will always sound dependent on their individual settings.

Vibrate On - Some button presses have vibration effects. Use this option to turn them on or off. Note that this does not affect the buzzer panel elements which will always vibrate if selected to in their buzzer settings.

Allow Remote *.kwl commands - Allows connected devices to modify or upload panels if they send *.kwl commands. See the remote code section of this user guide for more information.

Recent Error/Other Messages - Shows a list of messages the app has been reporting. For when you need more time to inspect them.

Clear All Panels - Clears the contents of all the panels.

Reset Defaults - Restores the settings and panels back to their defaults.
